We've had to take an eating out hiatus with each of our kids at about the same age Minnow is. Rest assured, they do get past this, but in the mean time it just isn't worth the fight.

Happy Mother's Day, and huge CONGRATULATIONS on your graduation (woo hoo!)!!

Regarding your decision to return to full-time work outside the house, I think it's perfect that you're honoring yourself and doing what will make you happy -- I'm a firm believer in moms being happy (trickles down to the kids, IMO :) ).

And eating out. Oh, yes, we've struggled mightily with this issue. With Isa, we stopped eating out for about 3 years, and I'm not exaggerating. Hayat is a little more of a restaurant kid, probably because she actually eats. But even so, we've had some very challenging meals lately. I think there's a stage where it's just too much trouble, and for most kids it ends pretty quickly and they start being easier to take out. Isa was definitely the exception -- her older sisters got through it in a few months and I think Hayat will be the same.

Good luck tomorrow with Peeper's court date!! I'll be thinking of all of you and hoping everything goes without a hitch!
