Micah eats off the ground all the time! :) What can you do? It's all about learning from experience - if we shelter our children from EXPERIENCE then how will they learn and grow - not to mention the fun part of it? I'm all about letting him fall (as long as he isn't going to break something or bleed) and allowing him to figure it out. And, yes, sometimes I get those looks too.
